About the Company:
Fine & Raw was established in 2007 in a Williamsburg, Brooklyn artist loft by Daniel Sklaar. Daniel launched into making small chocolate batches and sharing them with friends...he then started delivering them on his bicycle to local purveyors of fine food. It was apparent that the chocolate flavor was so good it was borderline addictive. The company grew based on the premise of producing organic, unparalleled quality chocolate and a shear love of the chocolate making process.
About the products:
Fine & Raw produces raw and roasted chocolate bars and confections. They source cacao from Ghana and Ecuador, and work directly with the farmers so they get paid 17-20% more than through fair trade. In return the company is assured of getting the best beans available. F&R chocolate is organic, kosher, and free of refined sugars, soy, dairy, and gluten.
