In 2018, B-Organic was born out of misfortune when the owner, Cathy DiPilato, lost her job and was struggling to make ends meet. At the same time she was hosting international students in her home, and every week she found herself - like 40% of American households - throwing away plastic bags of food because it had gone bad. Because of her limited income, she was determined to find a way to make her food last longer and discovered that organic, muslin cotton helped preserve food. B-Organic bags are sustainable, reusable, biodegradable and the designs are printed with recycled fruits and vegetables.
